When we feel that it is time to change our desktop wallpapers, we usually end up on Google, searching for high definition images, because normal pictures are never satisfying. If you are tired of Googleing "HD wallpapers" and shifting through the results, then Kiwi Random Wallpaper is the application for you. It can retrieve random high quality wallpapers for you, like the name suggests, but its functionality doesn't stop here. The application allows you to browse through numerous wallpaper categories and it places a good number of useful controls at your disposal.

Kiwi Random Wallpaper is offered free of charge and it works with all popular Windows versions. Installing the application can be done almost instantly, without going through any complicated settings. Apart from a working Internet connection, you don't have to meet any special requirements.

The aforementioned wallpaper categories are presented in a tree structure, on a user friendly interface. All you have to do is select a category and click a button, beneath the tree structure, to retrieve a random wallpaper. The found wallpapers are displayed on a separate window, on which you can hit different options, to look for a different image, apply it on your desktop or save it in a local folder. Additionally, you can flip, rotate and crop the displayed image, adjust its brightness and contrast and apply Greyscale or Negative effects. Recently found images are displayed in a column, on the same window, so you can still apply them if you change your mind.

You can find general wallpaper categories, like all, popular or new wallpapers, but you can also find specific categories, like animals, cars, music and many more, which include sub-categories. For example, you may select the cars category and retrieve images with random cars, but it is also possible to open the category and select a particular make. In addition, the application places a search function at your disposal, so you can find a category or sub-category instantly.

Applied wallpapers are displayed in the upper right corner of the interface. A few options can be found, beneath this preview, for using the wallpaper's dominant or average color on the desktop background. It is also possible to choose a custom color and to set different size modes, like Scale, Stretch or Crop, to fit the wallpaper better.
